Tripping to Thailand(1), We bought 1 baht gold (99.99%) at Bangkok goldsmith in Thailand.

タイでゴールドを購入したお話を紹介します。

We introduce how we got a piece of pure gold.

「シャム」（かつてのタイの国名）というのは、そのものズバリ、サンスクリット語でゴールドという意味です。

お金の単位も「バーツ」ですが、タイでは金の単位も「バーツ」（1バーツは15.244g）で取引されています。

私たちは1866年創業、バンコク最古の金行「Tang Toh Kang Limited Partnership」を目指しました。

“Siam”, the old name for Thailand directly means gold.

The monetary unit is “baht” and the gold unit is also “baht” (1 baht is 15.244g).

We went toward Bangkok oldest goldsmith, “Tang Toh Kang Limited Partnership”.

ヤワラート通り到着/ Yaowarat Road arrival

ヤワラート通りに到着しました。金行が至る所にあり、お客様で混み合っています。

We went to Yaowarat Road. There are many goldsmith and clouded.

金はナロースプレッド/Gold is narrow spread

タイでは宝飾品を中心に一般的に23Kが取引されています。

金はナロースプレッドで取引されています。

本日の田中貴金属のBuy/Sellの比率は5132/5049=1.01644。2013/01/28の23KのBuy/Sellの比率は23600/23500=1.00426。

日本よりも3.8-3.9倍有利です。

In Thailand, generally 23K is dealt with centering on the jewel.

Gold spread is narrow.

Today’s Tanaka Kikinzoku Group (Japanese famous dealer) Buy/Sell ratio is 5132/5049=1.01644. 23K’s Buy/Sell ratio (01/28/2013) is 23600/23500=1.00426.

Thailand is 3.8 to 3.9 times as advantageous as Japan.

We reached Tang Toh Kang. It is a formal building.

はじめに6Fのタン・トー・カン博物館を見学しました。あらかじめ電話(0-2224-2422)で予約すると見学できます。英語が通じます。

First, we saw Tang Toh Kang museum on 6th floor. You have to reserve on telephone (0-2224-2422). You can use English.

さあいよいよゴールドを買う/Now, buy Gold.

1バーツの金(99.99%)を注文しました。

タイでは24K(99.99%)を買うことができる場所が限られます。

Tang Toh Kangは数少ない金行です。

名刺の上に置かれているのが1バーツゴールドです。1921年以前からあるオールドスタイルのタイゴールドです。

溶かした時の目の美しいゴールドです。

We order 1 baht gold (99.99%).

In Thailand, it is difficult to buy pure gold(99.99%)

Tang Toh Kang is one of them.
