Boarding the bus from “Shanhaiguan” station to “Laolongtou”
In front yard of “Shanhaiguan” station is broad place. You can see the bus stop in front of the station.

You need to get on No. 25 bus and this bus comes many times.
The fare is 2 yuan and you should ask the destination for conductor.
“这车去老龙头吗？” (Does this bus go to “Laolongtou”?); Writing on the paper and show.
Getting on the bus, you need to pay 2 yuan to conductor and get the ticket.
If you want to know the arrival, you should write paper under these.
“到老龙头就告诉我” (When I arrive at “Laolongtou”, please tell me.)
The next station offers on the electric board.
It takes 20 minutes from railway station to “Laolongtou”.
When you get off the bus, you need to use the center of the bus platform.

Going out of the station, you can see a big park in right side.
After the bus turns left, you can see the great wall in right side.
The bus turns left again and there exists the bus stop, “Shanhaiguan nan men (山海关南门)” (Secondary bus stop from the station) and check it.

After arriving at “Laolongtou” bus stop, following the bus going direction.
There was some touts at there and please ignore.
At the crossing, please cross the street and go right side and it takes 5 minutes going to the ticket selling spot.

Going left, there is a museum and you can see the ticket selling spot.

- From May to October; 60yuan
- From November to April; 30 yuan

In “Laolongtou”, it takes 2 hours for seeing and there is the typical site seeing course board.

There were some restaurant at there but they are closed in off-season and some souvenir shops are opened. In off-season, you should prepare some food and drink.

There is the bus stop on the opposite side of the road and we get on No. 25 bus.
And we get off “Shanhaiguan nan men (山海关南门)” bus stop.

From Drum tower to “Tianxia di yi guan”
It takes about 2 hour for seeing “Tianxia di yi guan”.
Going straight the main road, you can see souvenir shop, photo shop and others.
Walking for some time, you can see the Drum Tower.
And turning right side, you can see “Tianxia di yi guan” ticket shop.

From “Tianxia di yi guan” to “Shanhaiguan” station
It takes 20 minutes from “Tianxia di yi guan” to “Shanhaiguan” station and you can see a big park in left side.
There are some restaurant near the station.

Getting on the bullet train
Entering the “Shanhaiguan” station, you need ticket and passport.
And you need security check and enter the station building.
This is not big station such as Beijing station so waiting room is right there.
You need to check train number and plat home number on electric board.
Our train came punctually.
Our boarding plat home was No.2 and we needed to wait at the vehicle number stopped point.

Exiting the examination of tickets, the ticket is only checked and the inspector back the ticket.
This is the method of buying the train ticket and going to “Laolongtou”.
The most difficult point is buying ticket but if you have enough preparation, it is not too difficult.
“Laolongtou” is a great one day journey and you should challenge to go there.
